Vergers Exotiques :
Packing & Cold Storage Facility
Built at the end of 2024, Vergers Exotiques is a modern packing station located in Morocco, designed to meet international standards of hygiene, traceability, and cold chain control.
The facility is fully open to third-party exporters, particularly for avocados, berries, and watermelons. Producers who do not operate their own infrastructure can pack their products within a certified environment while maintaining full commercial independence.
In addition to comprehensive packing services — including strawberry hulling and slicing — certified cold storage space can also be rented separately for temporary or seasonal needs, including products such as potatoes or apricots.
The station covers 5,000 m² and is equipped with three grading machines (six lines in total), offering a combined capacity of up to 12 tons per hour. This configuration enables efficient handling of significant export volumes, reaching up to 20,000 tons per season depending on seasonal variations.
The internal layout has been designed for optimal operational efficiency and strict flow separation. Independent circuits allow the simultaneous handling of avocados and berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries), while maintaining rigorous hygiene zoning and preventing cross-contamination.
The facility includes 1,000 m² of refrigerated space distributed across 11 independent cold rooms, as well as a refrigerated loading dock, ensuring full cold chain continuity from packing line to shipment.
Certified GlobalG.A.P., GRASP, SMETA, BRC, and Organic, the facility operates under procedures aligned with the requirements of European retail markets and international export standards, and is ready to undergo audits at any time.
The objective is simple: to provide a large-scale, export-ready environment where product quality and cold chain integrity are preserved at every stage.
